Yet the Muot Marias sports centre is much more than that: it is the starting point and meeting point for many outdoor activities.
Each to his own
«Winter is brilliant here», says Rino enthusiastically. «If you enjoy playing ice hockey, then you've got great ice and great friends here». Antonia, the small ice princess adds: «It's good for practising here. There's plenty of room on the ice.» For the parents, the Muot Marias sports centre is an «ideal solution». Because «Everyone's happy here. The kids on the ice, my wife on the cross-country ski trail and me drinking coffee on the terrace,» says the father of one of the schoolchildren.
Ideal starting point
The Muot Marias sports centre, in the heart of the village, is the starting point and meeting point for everyone – especially for anyone who likes to be active in winter. You can also access the cross-country ski trail or set out on many winter hikes from here. Another advantage is the central car park, directly below the sports centre.

Fun in the Sils Kinderland
To learn to ski in Sils, you do not need to head straight to the big slopes: the hill at Muot Marias with its children's ski lift is high enough to try out your first downhill runs in the Kinderland Sils (from 4 years) with the Ski School Corvatsch. The slope at Muot Marias is also perfect for tobogganing and children's bob sleigh: «And it's all right on our doorstep!» comments Levin, before heading back up the slope with his bob. For the parents, it is a chance to relax, as the children can also be left on their own for a while.
