Ranger on Chastè
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Chastè peninsula. Gain firsthand insights and a glimpse into the daily life of ranger Ute Schnabel-Jung.
Who actually ensures that valuable natural areas are preserved? What tasks does a ranger perform on a daily basis, and why is visitor management necessary in sensitive landscapes? This approximately two-hour excursion offers fascinating insights into the diverse work of rangers – from nature and species conservation to environmental education and visitor services.
The second part of the tour takes place on foot across the Chastè peninsula. Here you will learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna, the special features of this protected natural area, and how everyone can contribute to its preservation.
Execution: From 4 to a maximum of 20 people, reservation required.
Price: Free of charge.
Meeting point: Chastè boat dock.
Note: The excursion takes place on foot. Good physical condition and sure-footedness are required. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended.
