SRF Culture Club: Reading and discussion with Elke Heidenreich

Elke Heidenreich is the author of stories, short stories, children's books, and opera libretti. As a literary critic and book reviewer, she is well-known to audiences from radio and television, including the Swiss television program "Literaturclub." Her works have received numerous awards, and with her book "Altern" (2024, Hanser Berlin), in which she explores the topic in a very personal way, she has struck a chord with contemporary readers. This evening, she will read a selection of her texts. Elke Heidenreich shares a passion for reading with Thomas Strässle, the director of the SRF Reading Seminar, a passion they have both turned into their professions. Thomas Strässle will also discuss with the author what remains of all this, what is being printed today, and what from the past has been unjustly forgotten. This is a public event as part of an SRF Kulturclub Reading Seminar. Members of the SRF Kulturclub also have the opportunity to participate in one of the three-day reading seminars at the Hotel Waldhaus.
