Stubete am See: Evelyn & Kristina Brunner with Gabriel Miranda

Sisters Evelyn and Kristina Brunner have been playing together since early childhood – no wonder they are so perfectly in sync. Both started playing the Schwyzerörgeli (Swiss accordion) in kindergarten and developed a deep passion for traditional Swiss folk music. In their teens, they added cello and double bass to their repertoire. Their music is surprisingly eclectic, sometimes melancholic and serious, sometimes witty and playful. At the Stubete am See (Swiss folk music festival) in Sils, the duo will be joined by wonderful guests: Gabriel Miranda (violin) on Friday and Sonja Ott (trumpet, flugelhorn) on Saturday. All four musicians will also perform at the closing concert on Sunday.
