The Engadin has become a popular family destination in summer and offers action and fun for children and adults everywhere - and relaxation for parents. The adventure starts just around the corner: in countless playgrounds and play areas, at fire pits and swimming lakes. Or it leads through wild, romantic landscapes: on horseback and muleback, on inline skates or in the treetops.

Walking, barbecuing and swimming

From Sils Maria it is a leisurely 30-minute walk to the beautiful Chastè peninsula. From Sils Baselgia it is even a little shorter. In Chastè there are a few cosy barbecue and picnic areas waiting for you to linger. If you like, you can also take a dip in the refreshing Silsersee.

Märli water-trail

The Märli water trail is located on the circular hike to the six Lejins on Furtschellas. The 2.5 to 3-hour family-friendly hike is a very special hiking experience for young and old: sparkling mountain lakes, cosy barbecue spots and fantastic views. Children can look forward to exciting stories about the mountain fairy Mara and the goblin Furbaz. The accompanying booklet is available free of charge at the Corvatsch and Furtschellas valley stations.
