Protestant church San Gian

The church of San Gian, perched on a hill, is the landmark of Celerina. It impresses with its frescoes and a hand-painted wooden ceiling. The first mention of the church dates back to 1320 and the current appearance is merit of a reconstruction in 1478. Did you know? In 1682 the spire was destroyed by a lightning strike and has not been rebuilt since. Visitors can learn more and gain lasting impressions on a guided tour once a week.
