Lej Minor

At the very back of the Val Minor lies the idyllic Lej Minor. The Val Minor is rich in magnificent flora and marmots can be frequently be seen. On the opposite side of the valley there are still tunnels of former mines. Entering these tunnels without a guide is risky and therefore prohibited.

The hike to Lej Minor starts at the valley station of the Lagalb cable car and leads around Piz Lagalb.

The trail leads through the Val Minor where you can hear whistles and catch a glimpse of marmots. The flora is also beautiful and rich in this valley.

The trail leads past several small lakes to the Lej Minor. On the opposite side, there are still tunnels where ore was once mined.
Be careful, entering the tunnels without a guide is risky and therefore forbidden.

After the Fuorcla Minor, a steep slope is crossed. After this section, where a surefootedness is required, you can enjoy the area and the view of the Piz Cambrena.

The trail then leads back to the valley station of the Lagalb cable car.

Alternative: After Fuorcla Minor there is a gentle descent to the Bernina Pass.
