Autumn in Sils – the golden season
For many, the bright, golden autumn is the most beautiful time of year in Sils. This also applies to the two young local hobby photographers, Joanna Schurte and Albert Gonzalez. The natural phenomenon, which usually begins at the start of October, is a particular inspiration for them. We accompanied them on their search for motifs in autumn.
The early bird catches the worm
«Each and every time, it’s a blaze of colour.» Albert Gonzalez takes shots of the bright yellow Chastè peninsula. Together with fellow photographer Joanna Schurte, he wants to capture autumn in the mountains. This explains why they have been out and about since the first light of day. «We started out over there at the boathouse/barchiröls, from where we took photos of the peninsula Chastè in the sidelight. It really lights up the autumnal colours of the larch trees.» Autumn in Sils – simply magical!
