If you are looking for peace and quiet and closeness to nature in the Engadin, Sils offers a unique ski area in winter. The magic word: Furtschellas - with its perfectly groomed slopes and direct access to the Corvatsch ski area.

The Furtschellas ski area is part of the large Corvatsch winter sports region, which boasts a total of 120 kilometers of slopes and reaches an impressive altitude of 3,303 meters above sea level. The area extends from Sils through Surlej (Silvaplana) to St. Moritz. The breathtaking panorama attracts many snow enthusiasts to Corvatsch each year. Its high altitude and northern location ensure excellent snow conditions from mid-November to the end of April.

Ski slopes

There are 120 kilometres of pistes to enjoy in the Corvatsch/Furtschellas area - perfectly groomed and with various places to stop for refreshments.

Corvatsch Park

The Corvatsch Park is one of the largest of its kind in the Alps and is located right next to the Murtèl middle station. It offers various kickers and rail lines of all levels of difficulty. During the winter, it will be extended with a flowline and a halfpipe. There is also a bag jump for landings like on clouds when practicing new jumps. The Corvatsch Park is the venue for national and international competitions such as the Freeski World Cup.

Freeride

Sils is part of the Corvatsch freeride Eldorado: it offers everything that makes hearts beat faster. Steep gullies for freaks, wide deep-snow slopes for pleasure-seekers and cliff jumps for daredevils. Those who ski off-piste are responsible for their own safety. The avalanche beeper belongs on your chest, shovel and probe in your rucksack. It is also important to observe and respect the wildlife rest areas.

Snowsafari

Probably the best way to explore the Engadin. The Snowsafari starts in Sils. Via Furtschellas, the route heads towards Corvatsch and up to 3303 m above sea level. The tour continues along the legendary Hahnensee slope down to St. Moritz Bad. On the other side of the valley, you head into the Corviglia area. The Piz Nair and Trais Fluors stations and the long descent to Celerina await you there. At the end, around 88 kilometers have been completed and over 16 restaurants provide refreshments.
