The quickest and most effective way of learning the correct technique is by booking a few lessons at the Swiss Kitesurf School in Silvaplana. The school was the first of its kind in the world – after all, this trend sport was invented here at Lake Silvaplana – and can in the meantime look back on 18 years of experience.

 

Where can you find such a thing? Right beside the Parkhotel Margna in Sils: a Pitch & Putt course with Driving Range. Licence or handicap are not required; no dress code here.
The facility by the Parkhotel Margna gives novice golfers who do not yet have a licence the chance to play on the course, and not just practise on the Driving Range. Players can also hone their pitching and putting skills with the help of the Golf Pro, bookable through the hotel.

The newly designed 4-hole course offers experienced golfers, too, a challenge in their short game.
Precise strokes are required: distances of 81 to 159 m to the greens and well-placed hazards leave little room for error.

Due to renovations, the Hotel Margna and the golf course will be closed in summer 2020. The golf course will be open for you again in summer 2021.
